Volume limit to prevent hearing loss
The European Commission has taken measures to prevent hearing damage. From 24 January, all music players which are coming in the market will be provided with a volume limit.
When the user exceeds the volume level of 85dB, they will receive a warning on the display every 20 hours. New telephones and MP3 players have a maximum volume of 100 dB.
