Loop Amplifier
A loop amplifier supports an induction loop or other hearing loop. It transmits sounds from its source, for example a microphone or sound system, to the hearing aid induction loop that it is supporting. This hearing loop sends audio through the cables installed on the floor or attached to the ceiling. Hearing aid wearing people can use the ‘T-position’ on their device to hear the sound noiseless and clear.
Where is a loop amplifier used?
This system is very common in banks, cinemas, public areas and office buildings. The power of a loop amplifier is very important and depends on the size of the venue. You might need more than one loop amplifier in bigger venues. This solution enables wearers of hearing aid devices to hear all important announcements, lectures and sounds in the room.
