hearing loss and depressionOnce more, research showed that there is a strong connection between hearing loss and depression.

The research was executed by the American Institute on Deafness and Communication and was done amongst over 18000 American people of 18 years and older.

The research showed, that the more serious the hearing loss is, the more serious the depression is.

Of the participants with an excellent hearing, 4,9 -7,1% have a depression. The participants which suffer from hearing loss, 11,4% struggles with symptoms of depression.
