Hearing loop?
A hearing loop consists of a loop cable and a transmitter. The loop cable sends out an inductive (magnetic) signal. People with a hearing aid can receive this signal. To pick up this inductive signal, they only have to switch their hearing aid to the T-coil.
The loop in the ceiling or in the floor determines wherein the hearing can pick up the signal. There are different types of hearing loops for different sizes of rooms.
